Working with other Charities

Here at Meadows Shopmobility we have been working with another Charity to help people get out and about. We would like to share with you an impact statement from one of Blesma’s members.

‘‘For over twenty years I had never left the companionship of my wife, my mobility with regards to going out alone was not a viable proposition. My outreach officer managed to secure me the hire of a scooter for a very ambitious trip to London with the BLESMA photography group. I approached the trip with trepidations, however I need not have worried, the scooter was my lifeline, I was able to contribute to the group where I would never have been able to before. I would like to thank the charity who hired me the scooter. You have given me a new lease of life I am now the owner of my own scooter and my life has changed beyond all of my dreams THANK YOU.” Norman Carter
