Chelmsford Community Bookshop
Our community bookshop sadly had to close its doors in October 2025. It was a very difficult and emotional time for the charity and for the wonderful volunteers who worked so hard to keep the bookshop running and welcoming for the community.
We had a large amount of book stock remaining after the closure, and rather than letting these books go to waste, we decided to continue selling them through our eBay shop. This allows us to keep raising valuable funds for Meadows Shopmobility while giving our remaining stock a new home.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported our bookshop over the years, whether by donating books, volunteering their time or making purchases. The support we received from our community meant so much to us.
